Welcome to Tiger Tracker

The biggest threat to the tiger population in Nepal are speeding vehicles. According to the Kathmandu Post, "Every year wild animals die tragically or suffer injuries after being hit by vehicles plying the roads through their natural habitat because of careless drivers and absence of measures required to help wildlife cross busy highways." Tiger Track aims to solve this problem leveraging the Internet of Things Network. Tigers wearing tracking collars will have their locations monitored by Tiger Track, which will in turn send out SMS text alerts to subscribers warning them when the animals enter specific locations.

Users can use the map drawing tools below to create custom zones. Once a tiger enters your designated zone, you will receive a text alert.
